  • Global wheat prices trade lower following profit taking, as markets close the week down only slightly on where they opened.
  • Glencore are in discussion with different parties over the sales of their agricultural assets, sources say Canadian pension fund as well as Japanese trade houses are interested.

  • Asian millers increase their purchases of wheat by purchasing 60KT of Australian wheat as dry weather continues to cause concern over price rises. (Reuters)
  • UK wheat drilling makes good progress this week, with favourable conditions in many areas.
Oilseeds
  • Soybeans supported by a week of strong exports and slightly higher crush levels.
  • OSR under pressure due to stronger Euro, remains slightly down over the week.
