After such a spell of settled weather, it looks like nature might well average itself back out once again.

Any guesses as to when the flood will start and/or how long it will last?

I'm sure plenty will be thinking of combines!

Usually when the Fire Engine Drivers start to cut their hay . So 1st of August then

We’ve just got out the wettest winter in 25yrs so we have paid a chunk in 19/20

So a little bit would be most welcome but if it doesn’t come in the next month or so it can feck off till Nov

Weather man in fg was saying that higher ocean temps could increase the severity of the tropical storm season, which starts 1st June. And it's not unknown for the UK to catch the remnants of those. .... at harvest time .

When it does break,it could be a wet summer but probably too late for good crops.
