An EG would be a full vari width and a heavier plough also longer due to more distance between the first furrow and headstock. An ES is vari width on the last 4 furrows with the first one mounted on a slide of the headstock. We have a ES 5 furrow with 85cm body clearance and a 200hp headstock we also run a pacomat. Its 5 years old now and getting on for 3k acre with no real issues apart from the odd broken bolt, point, wing and one moleboard. I have ploughed some real crap with it and it does a good job. If you are happy with a KV I would stick wuth what you know.
