Yes. Think it may compensate/tiller better than wheat if it gets eaten by all the nasties that you can't kill now dursban is banned.

We find that our best winter Wheat yields are always after a grass break. If the grass is under five years old and in a proper grass/ cereal rotation, I would be tempted to sow wheat rather than barley.

We've ploughed up about 50 acres of grass this spring and shock/horror no damage by grubb. Plough up a similar acreage every year and haven't had to spray for grub. Many people who have routinely used it for years seem to think we're doomed! It's there fault it was banned.

I'm glad you have had no problems. I never used it when ploughing up long term set aside or austral and TBH I should have done every time, just didn't seem right to apply to margins field corners etc......
