We charge around £500-600. If a company can afford to do this part for free, it'd make me suspicious as what else they had slipped into their prices to be able to offer such concessions.....

Interestingly, one of my 'clients' needed an IMRA
One quoted over 2K, the other just over 1K
Mrs 2K was shocked when I said we wouldn't be accepting her quote!!!

I've heard similar stories. There appears to be a massive variation in the amount companies are charging to do, what you can essentially do yourself. Either send a little time and diy, or shop around. At £2k, I suspect the hourly rate for diy would be pretty good and a job to earn doing other jobs.
