He’s not very bright is he? He should have told us he was retiring to Hunstanton.

We hear that Risky couldn’t even be bothered to vote in the Mayoral election! What message does this send to the electorate? Let’s all move to California?

    Dan Poulter MP

Just because it’s beyond you doesn’t mean he can’t do it. What have any of us ever done to stand in judgment on people who have two jobs? I’m not an MP or practicing consultant are you? This is what’s wrong with this country, it’s full of crap.

TBH money men don’t see the UK as a good risk for the reasons you state. Too much on tick both public and private.

    Next Tory leader

Well it seems the right time to resurrect this thread. Braverman has openly stated now isn’t the right time for a Tory leadership contest so it must be about to happen. She obviously sees herself in that role. I think she just might get the job!

I’m not quite sure what role a “Mayor” plays but there’s only one of them in any area. Surely this means FPTP is the appropriate system. If you applied a transferable vote system the whole thing becomes even more ludicrous. As a supporter of proportional representation, I can only say that it...

    Who's bottled it ?

Yes why not? For true DD all crop residue should remain in the field. I could by wrong though🧐

    Are you voting today?

Being elected wouldn’t change my “morals” as you put. That doesn’t mean much because I would not stand for election ever. One thing human beings will always do is change their minds. There has to be room for this in politics because circumstances are always evolving.

    Who's bottled it ?

Any one pass system is Direct Drilling. The seed goes directly into the previous crop residue. Removing straw counts as a pass or three mind.

    Are you voting today?

No need to worry I won’t label @JP1 as prejudice. A ban on second jobs is something the Labour Party will probably introduce but it won’t work. Too many ways of rewarding MPs after they leave parliament. It will be interesting to see where Kwarteng ends up after providing huge profits for...

    Are you voting today?

I voted Lib Dem because their candidate expressed the view that the office of Police and crime commissioner should be abolished. Money better spent on actual policing, I completely agree with her!

    OSR this year ?

SFI gives the opportunity to reduce the risk from break crops. That’s what we are doing.

    OSR this year ?

The temperature in Denmark is much lower in the winter than here. Perhaps this doesn’t suit flea beetle?

    The war in Ukraine...

The “destruction” of Ukraine, if that’s what it is, could have been avoided with a stronger response to Russian aggression. Unfortunately western greed got in the way. Boris “not all Russian money is bad money” Johnson and his party share some of the responsibility for that. The Russian...

    The war in Ukraine...

The USA have donated far more to Ukraine than anyone, yet Mr Stoltenberg is calling for a bigger quicker response. Including proper air defence. Is anyone listening? Whatever his motivation Putin won’t stop without a stronger response from NATO members.
