haven't watched that rubbish for ages, anytime I have caught a glimpse as I try to find something worth watching I have to quickly flick on before I launch something hard and heavy at John Craven's head, can't afford to replace the idiot box every week.
TFF you tube channel.
I'd watch it. Be more informative, less dumbed down than Towniefile, and best of all, no Craven.

Rarely get to watch more than a few minutes on Sunday as seems to be on different times every week, it could be compressed into half an hour if they cut out the long intros, repetition, general BBC esque wittering and just gave us more facts. Adam Henson is a good farming representative, when he isn't off buying bulls all over the countryside, I think his hands are tied by the BBC when it comes to certain topics (did I mention badgers?). Weather forecast is the redeeming feature, also Miss Harrison's legs.
In Wales there is a programme called Cefn Gwlad in which basically Dai Jones (Welsh farming celebrity) visits farms in Wales and tours their farm and family like @Penmoel.
This format could be adopted and TFF members could give the tour of their place with crop and livestock interest.
I'm sure there are lots of fascinating farmers on here.
Problem is the cost of filming and time taken.

Maybe TFF send out recording equipment to a farm with rough instructions.Certainly something worth looking into though.
The farmer films a few hours of a farm tour then sends back the recordings for editing into a format for release.
A bit like a video blog.

It's one thing making a video for other farmers, I've seen posts on here where arable farmers have admitted they don't know much about livestock and vise versa. So you need to think how to explain what you do.
Can you cram them with information too please?
And answers to all the daft questions someone who isn't a farmer would ask.
If you video a bull can you put a wheelbarrow by it for scale?

Some of the early Cefn Gwlad are hilarious! The bit where he leans on a dry stone wall and a whole length gives way, and the one where he tries a canoe had me clutching my sides with laughter!
