as some of you might know, I have for a few years wanted to have a go at it, and last November I though now is as good a time as any, so within a couple of weeks I managed to locate a plough not far from me, the owner had bought it about 10/12 years ago, but had done nothing with it and was not all complete, but the main bits were there, and I had some bits, so all the work started,
it was a total nut and bolt rebuild from the ground up, the beams were checked to be straight. and machined where the legs bolt on etc, thus to get it all true and straight
it took lots of my spare time over the next 14 weeks to sort it out and put it back together,
then I had 1 day in a friends field before my first go in public at a ploughing match, I was the only 1 with a high cut, but I just needed the practice so I went for it
I must say a very good well known trailer ploughman did help me with the start, thank you Ray
