How did you hold the emery paper on John?
I just cant see the fastener in the picture?

Not the best of pics....the stones are held on with split pins, so i just put holes in the emery paper, and used the split pins to hold it round the stones

does a fierce job when lubricated with kerosense, takes about 2 minutes to do a cylinder, and leaves a lovely swirl pattern, unlike the stones themselves which tend to make it dull

just a few genuine bodges from my Canadian B in L and of course , one for the ladies . I think I like the shower head best !

Never mind the stand(we'll overlook the excessive paint for now)
Is that new baler twine on the transport lock?
Why is the kids bike still in one piece and not been donated to a project.
And that bit of 6x2 on the floor looks suspiciously "fresh"

The baler twine will have definatly have come off of a bale, the 6x2 is an off cut from the house extension which have come in incredibly handy. It was the 'old' hay Bob stand, one under each rotor. But it was susceptible to junior pulling it down on himself. So new stand was made, while its in for a refit.

i needed two more stakes , as i was already at 40 paces , and the wire was starting to sag a bit
i found two in the ''pile'' , one beheaded and one befooted
site manager mate had salvaged a load of screws , nails and various fixings out of the skip on site , so i raided it
it took me ten minutes to find a 8mm socket that fitted the tecs , and i put it on the ratchet air gun
its a bit like my home made ball cock arms , i wouldnt normally do it but these things always seem to happen on a saturday afternoon or sunday morning
