Hello guys.
Wandered if you tractor buffs might be able to shed some light?
The International 484 has been working fine, it's been working on the straw chopper and feeder bucket etc. My hubby was driving it across the yard and just caught the trailer hitch with the front left wheel of the tractor. So it had a bit of a joult! As soon as this happened, as he reversed to hitch up the trailer its lift arms wouldn't work along with the spool valve and its hydraulics wouldn't operate! Hubby drove it into the nearby shed and it started to bind up, it was all the tractor could manage moving 15m. The power steering never failed and it starts up fine.
We have had to move it by lifting the rear end up on the pallet tynes of the Manitou and I steered it around to the shed. The rear wheels would not turn, she's bound up tight.
Any ideas of what the problem might be????
Cheers.
