Help trouble with the 484.

Hello guys.
Wandered if you tractor buffs might be able to shed some light?
The International 484 has been working fine, it's been working on the straw chopper and feeder bucket etc. My hubby was driving it across the yard and just caught the trailer hitch with the front left wheel of the tractor. So it had a bit of a joult! As soon as this happened, as he reversed to hitch up the trailer its lift arms wouldn't work along with the spool valve and its hydraulics wouldn't operate! Hubby drove it into the nearby shed and it started to bind up, it was all the tractor could manage moving 15m. The power steering never failed and it starts up fine.
We have had to move it by lifting the rear end up on the pallet tynes of the Manitou and I steered it around to the shed. The rear wheels would not turn, she's bound up tight.
Any ideas of what the problem might be????
Cheers.

Had a 454 once lock up on rear end and loose the arms the donkeys d##k as we call it had fallen out and jammed up ontop of the diff also bent all internal linkages so we ended up fitting a s/h lift cover. (It's the big rod that pushes on the lift piston and the rock shaft to lift the arms )

It almost sounds as if a lump of metal has bounced up from the bottom of the gearbox and got lodged somewhere or something equally obscure.

I'd try jacking the back up and see if one or both the back wheels are locked. May give you an indication which area the problem is.

If u Jack it up n turn one wheel both wheels should turn in oppersite directions to each other but it won't be turning the diff its self it will just spin the diff gears .

To spin the diff Ull need to turn both wheels the same way with the transmission in neutral

I'm liking the donkeys todger theory! just been and tried to lift the Lift arms by hand and they are solid, looks like I'd better get the top cover off and see what I've bust!
