Guessing you're not far from Richard Baggott ?I'm wanting to get a tractor with a cab for road runs, but not too heavy, so I can load on trailer to go further

Very nice but too big, heavy and expensive for what I want, he has a yellow mf 20 that would be more suitable
looks a very nice east coast tractorLooks a nice tidy tractor
I was thinking more of finding out if the tractor is a suitable weight BEFORE buyingLoad everything you'd be taking on to the trailer, then head to your nearest weighbridge.
I thought you had a 65 that you were restoring?I was thinking more of finding out if the tractor is a suitable weight BEFORE buying

Yes I have a 65 but it's not really suitable for taking my son with me
How noisy is it?i bought an mf 165 with wet brakes and flexi cab for similar reasons
difficult to tell not excessive, better than a rigid cab model !,but on a road run you are never flat out,and it has brilliant brakes which you can rely on unlike 135/550 brakes imoHow noisy is it?
Definitely agree the wet brakes are excellent, that's why I thought a 565 but too heavy, maybe a 250 would suitdifficult to tell not excessive, better than a rigid cab model !,but on a road run you are never flat out,and it has brilliant brakes which you can rely on unlike 135/550 brakes imo
Too underpowered to transport a man and his son on a road run?yes a 250 would do,but they are very under powered ,we used to have one!!
ha ha,i mean they are underpowered for much else,i have been on welsh hill sides on road runs where you need a few horses!!just my opinionToo underpowered to transport a man and his son on a road run?
