Class dont seem a lot cheaper, compared to fendt,jd, so why would that chap swap brands? surely the 2nd hand value is better on a fendt or jd.
The dealer must have offered the deal of the century, whats his turn around policy on tractors, 5 years i would imagine:confused:
Claas are very reasonable on their extended warranties up to 5 years (50 pence an hour I was quoted on an ex hire tractor to 5000 hours) and that's reassuring peace of mind for a 150hp tractor.

I decided not to buy extended warranty on my last tractor, it just felt to much money, the odd switch or sensor should not cost to much if there is a problem, servicing i can do myself, have you seen how much these dealerships charge for a full service:banghead:

Currently got oil pissin out the front suspension this is just after problems with the rear hitch last week which was traced back to a burst wire in the loom to the fender buttons if it's not 1 thing it's another!

No your right it's not a major problem but that's just lost me tonights ploughing and probably a half day tomorrow it's just the inconvenience of all the little niggly things that accumulate to a fair bit of down time in the last 2 weeks it'll add up to a couple of days which I'm no getting back.

Mate of mine is having exactly the same issues as you with a 640. Loads of little faults
