Here's another question for you @Roger Perry @turbo @wanton dwarf

Why would the White House ban certain media outlets such as the BBC, CNN, and the New York Times from a press briefing?

You'd almost think they are trying to control the media?

At what point will you find it impossible to defend this man.

You still haven't given me an answer to the question I asked at the very start of this thread, and repeated at least 3 times. I know you've read it, you just don't like the answer.

Well i have looked at what spicer said and yes it does seem though he did say that 3times about an attack in Atlanta, the bit that hasn't been reported is that he corrected himself by saying he meant Orlando, not good I agree but I am the last one to say anything about getting things mixed up with my past mix ups with who said what on here.as for not letting some of the press into the briefing,I say good on them the way the press has treated this new administration has been nothing short of disgusting

From what I've seen of the press briefings and the way it has been deliberately miss reported by certain elements of the press ... infantile.

I've not seen a question from you that is worth answering. You just seem totally hung up on a few words, which from what I have seen have been brought to light as either mistakes or misinterpretations.

Press briefings ARE to control the media, that is the whole point of them. Telling the media one thing and getting someone elses opinion reported is pointless.

I do not like the BBC and have not paid for a license fee for about 10+ years now. Not interested in CNN nor the New York Times. The Guardian is also excluded, which I do read because it is the centre of most of the extremism we see against farming and throughout most of UK culture.

If sections of the press wish to continue to politically distort President Trump then they are no longer printing news they are printing political opinion and should be expected to be excluded.

We've had decades of mass immigration, millions died in multiple wars and the complete destruction of the working class's livelihoods. People have found a champion to destroy the Liberals which have created this nightmare.

For some "weird" reason you think Donald Trump is going to be overturned by your opinion - which I find quite frankly pathetic.

If Donald Trump implements his manifesto then most likely Trump will be voted in again.

If you are a Liberal then expect most of the things you hold dear to be totally obliterated, which includes part of the press and I personally celebrate this ... Liberals have destroyed without a mandate ... people did not riot whilst Liberals murdered millions but they did protest mostly through using their voice.

This has culminated in recent history by having enough numbers to democratically over turn the policies of Liberals. We've seen one Liberal leader after another gotten rid of - thank god.

If you are a Liberal then suck it up, you've earnt every single thing that will happen.

If you don't want to accept democracy in action, then like Brexit, expect many who have voted to defend democracy with their lives.

I just hope things don't go too far ... but millions of people will have to die and lose their homes to get anywhere near the record of Liberals.

Enjoy the fruits of Liberal policy ... and remember NOBODY even got to vote on what THEY did.

Excellent reposte WD, I agree with all of it. I find it incredible that people like our friend Stuart are trying to defend the indefensible and just cant see these evil people for what they are! And I'm talking about the leaders and controllers of the banned media outlets, not so much the lackeys who work for them, as they are told what they have to do and which narrative to follow. I'm delighted the Emperor, err I mean President:p has banned the BBC from his briefings. And guess what, not a word of outrage in the BBCs defence from the Prime Minister Theresa May. I guarantee there would have been had slimey Dave still be in charge.

From what I'm hearing on alternative media outlets, this is going to be an incredible year of seismic events of all types. The veil that has been in place for millenia has increasingly been lifted over the past few years and is about to be torn asunder!
If you cant handle Donald Trump taking these people to task, I don't know how you are going to cope when its revealed why he is doing so, and what they have been up to for generations. He is not kidding when he talks about draining the swamp, it really is full of all manner of nasties and is the main reason why so much vitriol has headed Trumps way! The Liberals are desperate to keep their secrets secret. Unfortunately for them there is a GOD and he is 100% behind the Trump(et);)

I agree.

Trump may well turn out to be a complete knob head ... but saying a few words wrong in speeches is no where near enough.

Let's see what he has done in a year or twos time.

Can you PM me the alternative sites you are talking about ?

I cannot see the Brits electing someone like Trump, (although a lot support his approach,) its' too direct, he would have already circled a date on the calendar as the date to quit Europe, got rid of a lot of regulation, put people to productive work while lowering taxes.

Britain seems to be in a bit of "no mans land" at the moment, wringing its hands over Europe while wondering how much taxes will have to increase to keep all the social programs in place.

As Churchill said........two countries divided by a common language..!

Your man has done nothing, and will do nothing.

We would not elect that bozo because we expect a certain level of behavior from people, we do not rely on rhetoric or lies and expect decorum at all times. MPs who have said or done anything contrary to this have been booted out with little sympathy from voters.

The ironic thing, is that you and millions of others, including several on this forum like you, base your opinion of Trump on a couple of minutes of propaganda that is repeated over and over by the propaganda machine that disguises it self, nay, calls itself, as a free and unbiased collection of suppliers of news on current affairs.
You on the other hand, confirm yourself as a total knob head, post after post.

My opinion of Trump has been formed over months and months of listening to and watching the man.

It is obvious the bloke has virtually no intellect (his vocabulary alone is proof of that) and very little experience of politics. His body language and emotional reaction to any kind of criticism is also very informative to people who understand such things.

He consistently lies, and dismisses any kind of challenge to him as 'propaganda' or, most recently 'fake news'.

He is not a raving business success, refuses to release tax returns, and there are hordes of people who have done business with him and confirmed my suspicion than he is the lowest kind of businessman whom would rightly be despised by anyone involved in our industry.

I have no preference for any media or news outlet, I read a lot of them, but also have conducted a lot of research surrounding the bloke. I knew, for example he had a very suspect collection of people on his crew and the Russian links were mentioned months ago. Now it turns out there is more than a few shards of truth to it.

Quite what you make of Trump if you believe I am knob head I have no idea, I'm, not even in the same league as him, but it is telling you immediately begin personal attacks on the basis that I hold a view you disagree with, despite the fact you know virtually nothing about me, what I know or how I obtained the information, much less my own political persuasion.

The bloke is categorically of no political consequence, and the people who voted for him have either been conned properly, or are as equally stupid as he is. Unfortunately Americans are not known for real world political understanding and have been indoctrinated for decades by their socio-economic system which has convinced them that everyone should be labouring to grasp the 0.0001% chance of being a millionaire and screw everyone else whilst you do it.

You have to admit, for a man who was hailed by the working masses as their saviour, do you not find it interesting that most of his inner circle are millionaires or billionaires in their own right? Trump indicates he wants a deep reform and investigation of the legislation surrounding the US banking sector, yet has appointed former Goldman Sachs executives into what are potentially very powerful political positions?

Appoints Scott Pruitt to head the EPA??? Come on now, tell us, do you think that was nothing but a politically expedient appointment?

Without a free press you are under a totalitarian regime however you want to paint it. Trump would prefer that the USA had it's own version of Russia today, a state owned and operated news agency which only reported the news in a way that suited his agenda and political purview. Unfortunately he has to grapple with a half dozen outlets domestically plus international networks.

Fake news as become the standard response now, anything that Trump doesn't like is basically dismissed as fake news with no further comment.

The second you have a political system which can no longer be held accountable you have lost democracy however you want to paint it.

Anyway Trump is about to learn his lesson about how far executive powers will extend. Now he will have to govern within the entire political system and with the consent of Congress. This is an entirely different caper and though I enjoy poking fun at the more aged hardcore Republicans, the Republican party is no entirely composed of fruit loops who will accept any old Trump policy and rubber stamp it. Personally I think he will become bored of his position in time. Whilst I am not a huge fan of Mike Pence as yet, I do think he will be a far more effective President than Trump ever will be.

I love all the leftists defending the press, yet they want the Daily Mail banned when the Tories win an election, or brexit comes through, they have even banned it in university campuses and alot of shops in Liverpool.

The left in America will do what it's done here, fold in on itself when they find out, they can't shift Trump and no one is listening to them anymore.

Ah so now it is apparently OK to try and censor the press?

USA is apparently following the model of Nazism now then, gets truer every day.
He was not censoring the press as they were all allowed into the press briefing and aftwards he took right leaning media into what is called a press gaggle.Nobody complained when Obama press secretary did the same only taking left leaning press into the gaggle, more fake news iam afraid

You're pathetic, NOR do you understand why he was voted in, he was not voted in, to talk rubbish and do nothing like Obama, he was voted in to do what his pledges said, you won't like this, tough, Your policies didn't resonate with the rest of the country, he was voted in to halt the gradual rot of socially liberal politics, this has SWeet FA to do with money, hence why people don't give a sh!t about how many billionaires are in his cabinet, this is a war of ideologies, people want their guns, they want less muslims and they want ISIS dealt with, the politicians are there to do what the people want, regardless of how silly it is, we tried it your way, America is in 20 trillion of debt and has left the middle east in a complete mess, so don't go lecturing people on being ' stupid' because you've done a fvcking fine job of fvcking it up for them, the cheek of some people is unreal.
