Last time I had medical, the doc did eye test. Just read the letters on the chart across the room, if you wear distance glasses do so, might have checked peripheral vision as well but not sure.
If you have been to the optician they can fill it out. Otherwise doctor will check your vision with and without glasses as well as testing peripheral vision.
Just remember to mention the dizzy spells and blackouts unlike some others.

Are local GP who dad has his medical with doesn't do the eye test but still wants £120 for the rest, seems dear?

My dad just had his medical with a private firm, cost iirc £50-60 I think? He was muttering something about the GPs ripping him off......can't remember the name of the company he used though?
I may have an email, I will check if I've got any details?

Fourtraks were the best vehicle ever. I wish I had never sold mine.
apart from the brakes, the front wheels always seamed to lock up and skid ,i delivered a 10 ton silage trailer and 28 ft ba;le trailers with mine ,pick the drawbar up with forklift wedge a timber under the front spring hanger on the trailer to take the weight of back end of truck
