See above post about Arla growth in top 100 brands and the extra value this brought. Also from standing start Arla organic farm milk is already no.1 branded organic milk without taking any sales from previous top brand . Arla figures clearly show the increased profit from brands across all member countries , on average I think 20 to 25 % extra profit and we have 43% in brands and rising
Whose market data is that from? Supplying something to a supermarket doesn't mean its been sold to a consumer.

I'm glad I'm not organic or supply a farmer coop, all this constant bickering would probably lead me to throwing a rope over a sturdy branch !!!!!

I t would appear that being either of those things put's you at the top of the pile for attack from Sid , I am sure his views however are totaly unbiased and nothing to do with being in a farmer owned organic co-op himself , it is of course strange that his co-op never ever comes in for any of his criticism , it must be great to be perfect , well done Omsco , I do believe you are a great company but I never quite realized how good until the last 9 months on here .

be easier for someone to start a Arla thread, its like a stuck record in here at times
Good point , I would be more than happy for all those anti Arla points to be moved to a dedicated thread . We the owners must be able to address these points though , especially as anything repeated online these days become truths . We own this company and are simply trying our hardest to add value to a deminishing dairy sector , to constantly attack our work is no different to a neighbour continuely telling the world the way you farm is shite ,a fine if constructive and not personel but we must be allowed to address this otherwise it just becomes like all the other anti farming organizations where a noisy minority dictate to the silient masses . I think there are a number of Arla threads already so maybe we could use those , as you rightly say it's spoiling this thread and for that I hold my hands up , so maybe next time we could just reply ' see reply in arla thread '

awww can't it stay here its like having our own version of the American elections. we should have a polling day and everything.
From speaking to a large amount of Americans last week it wasn't about who you liked the most but who you hated the least!
350million people and that was the best 2 they could come up with!?

On a different angle to being in a coop or supplying a plc . A certain well known middle ground processor in the north of England is going around offering to sell shares in his business to certain suppliers. Is this a good move and would the non coop suppliers think this is a good move for some of them ?
Thoughts please .
