Why no milk price tracker thread?
We have them for;
Its bad enough knowing what im getting, would be even worse knowing how much more people are on.
I would be willing to, be interesting to see variations aroumd country/companys
feb milk here was 23.79ppl with Glanbia
Looks like you just started it.
Won't be many dairy farmers left soon so a bit pointless. Was speaking to someone yesterday and they said the number of dairy cows has remained static while the number of dairy farmers continues to decline.
Begins with a 1 after retention and I don't start receiving it till april.
Picking my ball up now.
Its been doing that for about 15 years.
Has any sector improved much in that time?
29ppl in Feb for 5.8 and 3.8 with AML. Exactly 10ppl lower than the same time last year.
Very happy for you to start one if you think here would be enough participation
I have thought a dedicated dairy forum would be appropriate to keep the dairy stuff grouped together
you paid on quality????
Our 23.79 was for (off top my head) 4.5 & 3.5
1ppl for bacto + cells
.3ppl for volume
Where would be the best place for it????
For now in Livestock and forage, I will shift it there for you
I disagree. Keep them in 'Livestock & Forage', it makes the rest of us feel better (at the moment anyway).
Of course, when the milk price swings back up to 35ppl again, they can feck off to their own bit.
February 25.1ppl paid. AMCO
8.3ppl down from last February.
February 4.6 fat 3.5 protein goes to Tuxford & tebbutt /arla for stilton cheese via firstmilk just over 20p after capital
they might as well give you a pat on the back, thats a tough price for that quality milk
