My cows look a picture in the shed,no mud in there.:)














Now slurry on the other hand,I've got loads,going to give in and try and umbical my driest field tomorrow,I'm fed up of jetting slurry over the hedges,been a terrible wet March here I'll be glad to see the back of it.
What you need is a bigger lagoon, and it's the same here, far too much slurry wasted when it's wet

What are other autumn calvers feeding through the parlour now they've gone out? By rights they don't need anything but we did that last year and they were arseholes so we shall be feeding a dribbling of something. My cake Rep recons wheat is through the roof so wheat distillers is out. He recons go to a lower grade high NDF cake to slow things down through them.

Wheat feed and pke with minerals, all in a pellet @14% protien. Dropped it another 10% today, if the weather sharpens up, then il drop it even more.

What does he mean wheat is through the roof? Price wise? Still be cheaper than any HDF cake.
