word of warning on these - I got a ACCS none conformance years ago because of a chemical locker

they need to be bunded, signed and locked just like a normal them store

also you need to carry product data sheets when on the road in case of accident

Just a quick question did you just bolt it on through the back or is it supported?
I've just bought one for a new trailer and wonder how to attach it either with a frame of just bolt it to the chassis

Made an L shape bracket out of 12mm flat bar bolted it to the box to support it then attached it to two bolts on the front. Plenty of strength but had a bit of give for rougher areas.

I've never seen a bund in a chem delivery van, and the contents are never strapped down in any way either. Must be half a dozen different firms deliver here, all the same.
Some use little curtain siders instead of vans.

There are exemptions depending on the quantities and types of chemicals, primary and secondary packing sizes. There are also exemptions for chemicals already within a machine, and carriage of chemicals where the carriage is ancillary to the main activity and the chemicals are to be used on arrival. The fact is that ADR/CDC is a wonderfully over-complicated piece of Whitehall/Euro regulations that muddies the waters enough to keep an army of consultants in work!

Of course and not heard of a problem, but as you found with your mice crap we have to prove we are doing the job right, these delivery vehicles cant be being checked

if there was an accident that involved one they would be checked and the consequence for driver or company owner would not be pleasant if anyone was hurt or anything got polluted etc

Isn't that the modern way - there aren't many checks by Elf and Safety, and they let you go your own way most of the time, but if you make a bad mistake they throw the book at you.
