The Green Party

Up here in sunny Scotland the Greens are represented by two of the best political operators imaginable .. I've met them debated with them and they are really top drawer ... It's just a pity they don't grasp hard economic realities very well .. the greens that is .. jtt.

I met the former leader Natalie Bennet last summer, she had by far the best knowledge on farming of any politician I have met, and that includes a former minister of state for farming and a Secretary of State for the environment. She came accross as a very genuine and decent person, which is probably why the greens aren't that successful.

They won't as they have become the anti-tory party which is pointless and nobody will vote for that. I think the fact is that as far as renewables go, the economics will take care of it. Just going to be cheaper and better and perhaps already is. You will not be buying a diesel vehicle in 2032 as nobody will be selling one. Probably for mainstream cars, that will apply within the next 5 years.
