Aurivo first passed the 30p post. 30.3p including volume bonus. It's not the taking part that counts but winning. Some people mistake greed for ambition
We burned a field of timothy hay ( well , what was left of the swathes ) in January 1975. 1974 was considered a very bad year - until 1985.Dad informs me he recalls baling straw in February.

Last piece of the jig saw and most important the price. 27-28p????30p for Aurivo. It was very sporting of Dale Farm to let them catch up for a month.
You asked for three years on the fixed contract Z. It appears you got it.
You also wanted more than 10%. It appears you got that too! I trust you're a fan then?
Has it been taken off Agriland? It's plastered on Agriland.

Need more. I'll eat my hat if it's 29p
what was your avg milk price over the past three and five years? makes interesting reading. mine was 3 year avg 23.94. 5 year avg 26.21.27p not enough
And if you were to be offered 29p, I'd be all but certain that you'd decline, instead demanding 31.

Done my sums still can't afford it.sorry it's just I'm more ambitiousDo you not know Ag it's all about the money! Apart from when Dale Farm are paying more, then you still can't afford to supply them!
looks like z will have to get his pen readyCould all those commenting on the Dale Farm offer of a 27p fixed milk price take a look back at pages 78 and 79 of this thread. Makes interesting reading!! I think you nailed it Agrarian
