Wind had blown them pretty dry, and then went and dragged some steel through the neighbour's clods before the rain set in, again.
Nice to have our weather pattern back, all that sun was nice but...

Oh, and folded up a few more pigeons, as the gulls had taken the remnants of the last victims away. They're getting wise to me now, and staying away longer.

Will the P not leach between now and spring when the plant needs it most? I know you need k to help root establishment.
P doesn't 'leach' and it helps root establishment and growth (important precursor for energy, cell division). It can be lost if index above 3 but if that is the case then why put it on. K more likely to be lost esp on sandy soils. That said, unless severely deficient then you're normally maintaining or building reserves anyway.
