Well I'm well hacked off went and got the stuff for T2 and based on the forecast at 9am and a few spots on the windows haven't gone. As it is I could have got most of it done as its still only spitting, bl@@dy weather forecasters can't get it write for 3hrs later.

i best service the mower tomorrow i think knew i should have done it before now
best to get it done out of the way else before you know it ,you get pulled away to another job and then good weather comes and the boss is like, right lets go to mow, always seem to be what happens round here anyway

Looks like you guys in the east are in for a soak later today, BBC forecast is for up to 40mm coming in from the SE
Been to Nottingham today. Coming back in to the rain and I reckon we may well have had a good dose. The road outside is running like a drain and the perforated land drain across the fields that covers the main water and electric and water running to a barn is actually running like a fixed drain at it outfall - not seen that ever / last 5 years (even last winter)

Barely spitting in Doncaster this morning. Bit more persistant drizzle at home and some overnight, but much less than feared - perhaps it ended up more to the east than they thought as per the picture of a rain gauge.

Drizzling a bit here, which considering the forecast is good. Could of got all the T2 on today if I had ignored the forecast and gone on instinct but got a tank on the flat stuff in case we do get the inch or 2 they are forecasting, the heavy stuff should be ok to travel at the weekend if we are lucky. Looking like 2012 in some fields.

9mm so far today. Considering we had 62mm forecast for yesterday and today not to bad, do feel slightly annoyed I ran around trying to get T2 sorted in light of the forecast and needn't have bothered.

My Dad informs me we've had over 60mm? Seems quite unbelievable considering that we had been missing it for so long.

If it's any consultation it's been fairly cool here (Brittany) with the Sun only really coming out today. And the pool is nearly too cold to go in.
