Have speedy recovery.
Not to bad thanks. The swelling you referred to has come and gone[emoji6]. No pain when sitting or standing just a bit uncomfortable when i actually stand up. I'm sure when pain completely goes i will want to start work but realise i must wait. All my customers know the situation and are sympathetic to it.@MF-ANDY
How's it going, hope you are doing OK?
Probably nothing. Pressing the button introduces an accumulator into the system to dampen the arms. So I'm guessing the up and down movements are normal.My son had one of those but he didn't complain at all after the op; he was only 6 weeks old though .
Maybe we could fill the thread with our daft technical questions to give @MF-ANDY something to do?
I'll start;
MF 6270; there is a little button on the right hand console to dampen the rear arms when travelling however when I press it the lift arms jerk up and down at random intervals, almost as though the tractor isn't sure where their preset position is supposed to be, a bit like an inguinal hernia really. What have I broken this time please?

What are the raise/lower leds doing while this is going on?Does it when s
Does it when standing stationary in the yard, starts when the button is pushed and stops when pushed again. Not equal movements in terms of distance or direction either. Hope you're feeling better soon, at least things should only get better from here!
Local, but fairly heavy sedated. I can still remember the theatre nurse tutting when the surgeon told the joke with the punchline about wiping it on the curtains; so I must have been fairly awake.Did you have yours under local or general anesthetic @david

How long is it before youre fully recovered? I think my son is going to have the op.Did you have yours under local or general anesthetic @david
After 2 weeks i now have only a few twinges when i bend. External scar has healed well. I have been told by the surgeon no heavy work for 4 weeks so even if i have no pain l will respect his advice.How long is it before youre fully recovered? I think my son is going to have the op.
When I had mine I did nothing for 4 weeks (aside from moving furniture round the house out of boredom!). Then I started to do work again, little at first though as I think they recommended 6 weeks off to me.How long is it before youre fully recovered? I think my son is going to have the op.
Hope you feel better soon. V common op so should be a quick recovery. Take it easy and rest up. Anything strenuous can ruin it so don't take any chances xx
I've got one of these too It happened in early September, but the idea of not being able to work or lift means I'm hoping that it can be put off till the cows are dry , so May next yearNot to bad thanks. Noticed mine in April. Saw gp in May who referred me. Saw surgeon in August who explained the procedure and said it would be about 12 week wait so some time in November which suited me. They had a cancellation and offered me early September which i declined. It never gave me any pain or discomfort but was told it would only get worse and result in a larger operation. Arrived at hospital 12.30 pm. walked to theatre at 2.00 pm, back home at 4.30 pm. Did think of going on holiday to recover but not knowing how i'd feel and wife not able to get time of,f decided against it. Then as a precautionary matter to prevent me "Doing anything stupid", I'm going on holiday.
I'm off to the surgeon on Friday, that will be quite interesting......Noticed mine in April. Saw gp in May who referred me.
