Few jobs out and about today, set of filters on a 6420 first job. Can’t beet some oil down your sleeve to start the day [emoji849].
IMG_5449.jpg

Then onto a spot of wiring, I usually try and avoid working on hgv’s but this was a shiny new S500 scania so made a exception.
Tracker and real time dash cam.
IMG_5450.jpg

Plenty of wires to play with
IMG_5452.jpg

Truck driver isn’t a job I’d like to do, but if I had to this would be my choice of office [emoji848]
IMG_5451.jpg

Then another 6420, this time an electrical fault which turned out to be a bad contact on a fuse for the bcu controller.
IMG_5454.jpg

And finally a 6830 with an intermittent can-bus fault, changed the terminators and cleaned some contacts but we’ll have to see if it’s cured it. (No pic of that one)

That for Mr W ?

Looking forward to THOSE pics! Tractors from when Fendt were still hand built to exacting standards and the price worked out afterwards.

The 311 we had was a lovely old bus, even with 16k hours on it.
The build quality of the big fendt is perfect it will be a pleasure to turn out to our standard

Not long now
A few loose ends to tie up on 550
A clutch, service, gearbox repair on a 1390
dB 770 hydraulics to sort
Mudguards and bonnet on a 990 to paint
Mudguards and bonnet etc on 135 to paint

Then it's green and grey in the guns for the fendt run
