Nerve Centre has gone a horrible range of red...... 3 (could be 4) wards with confirmed Noro-virus...... not a good day at the factory. Once the flow stops things get very "tense"

That's refreshing to see. we haven't got around to cleaning ours down yet every time we think well do it something else crops up. We do keep a close eye on it and make sure she's kept vermin proof.Got the old bus out for its clean from harvest (a bit later than planned )

It only has a small run of weld about every 18” not the full length so didn’t need to put loads of heat into it.Whats it like to weld on the flight?centre auger on my mobile dryer needs a new flight was abit worried about the shaft bending with the heat
Why aren't they built with bearings in the end of the flight?Oil pipe on a Sanderson first job

When it’s full of grain it self centres in the tube, but I have often wondered why there’s no bottom bearing as it does rattle when it’s empty. Why aren't they built with bearings in the end of the flight?
Me too, engineer thinking! Our 6" bin loading auger has bearings both ends but I suppose it just adds cost in a 4" auger. When it’s full of grain it self centres in the tube, but I have often wondered why there’s no bottom bearing as it does rattle when it’s empty.
