what grinds your gears

AAARRGGHHH fxxxxn baxxxxd "safety" cut out on modern telehandlers!!!! Makes a good machine pretty much unusable and downright dangerous!!!! Not to mention irritating to the point of rage, and how can that help safety?? 30 years of daily handler driving and never ever even once gone over forwards unexpectedly because I watch what the hell I'm doing, and now because of a few bloody idiots that can't drive and an HSE that has to keep itself looking like it's doing something, I have not only to suffer the loss of production, frustration and added risk of going over sideways in soft conditions because big bully brother has decided I'm too stupid to continue having any control over MY machine for the next 10 seconds or so, but I have to PAY for that "privilege" in increased cost of the machine in question!!! Anyone figured out how to shut the buzzer up in override mode in a new merlo tf 33.7 yet?

Pull the wires off?
If only. The buzzer is mounted on the circuit board, and seems to be controlled by the board itself rather than having dedicated wires leading into the plug on the board. Options seem to be either muffle it somehow or trick the computer into thinking you're not in safety override when you actually are

It has not had anything done to it since it was built in 1907 and now needs repair. Guess how long the road is going to be closed?
