quick fixes, bodges and creations

@TripleSix did you take a photo of our quick fixing bodge? No new materials apart from mig wire and welding rods.

None that are particularly good...

40mm posts holding the feed barrier had snapped off.

They had 100mm angle iron attached to hold a sleeper as the barrier bottom.

We cut the angle irons off and moved them down so they were now right at the bottom and thus welded to the baseplate.

Making it all much strongerer.

That wasn't too shabby considering we were on the end of a 13a extension lead, rusty, and on CO2...

Couple I’ve noticed the last few days I thought worthy of a photo.

Don’t like insulated live wires, sheep chew/play with them, but needed some insulation putting this one up, found a pen in my pocket.

Stop cable broke, guy that works for me sorted it with the broken elastic band from his head torch, didn’t even have to find some string [emoji23]

My camera is having off days but just finished a bodge.
Which raises the question. 'Is a bodge ever finished?'

Used 5x3 timbers out of old roof of new cottage.
Door out of demolished farmhouse.

Just need a new door lock and one of my half cans of expanding foam to work now.
