There were enough issues with the 'old' BFF that can hopefully be sorted by this new board. Perhaps it isn't such a bad idea after all. I do find it a shame that a wealth of information is lost if the forum won't return. Lets hope more people from the old forum will find this new place.

I set this forum up a while ago in an offer to help the admin of BFF out etc but we ended up not going ahead.

Since BFF has been off for a while now and doesn't seem to be showing any signs of returning, I thought I may as well make it public again.

I've very limited internet access at the moment, but time is of the essence, so get posting !

I just posted this on the Direct Drilling forum (directdriller.co.uk) but copied here as well:

Nice one! Another assured diversification opportunity? So what of www.farming-forum.co.uk that seems to have also been running alongside BFF and FWi - presume members each have their favorite or are members posting on all 3? By the way - at this rate you wont have any time for farming or your betrothed! Plan time wisely!!

Hopefully everyone will jump ship to here and we can move everyone back into the same place to have one busy forum once again

United we stand.. divided we fall (and the other half of us can't get past the admin approval on BFF, just take a look at the facebook page if you don't believe me!)

Can we make it so the new posts appear at the top of the page rather than the other way around?

How do you mean ? So the post at the top of a thread is the most recent reply ?

I think it is probably already possible for you to do that on a user by user basis in your preferences.. one second
