Bale graze it. Quite a few farmers here practice this. Allows the grass to grow back well as a stockpile so the animals have two options once placed in the field.Then I'd have to bale it, wrap it and cart it burning more diesel
I've enough of that to do in a week or 2 without conserving this bit as well
And feral dogs are a huge problem, especially just north of here around the New England Tablelands . . .

the Haggerty's are some awesome farmers in WA who went from something like 600 acres to 16000 acres, farming pure sand but using sheep to introduce / improve the biology of their cropping soils
