To solve the haylage/hay argument, we made haylage on the show. The original plan was to make hay but the weather forcasted in the allotted filming slot was too wet for us to make it. 1 member of the production crew even joined to help on a tractor to turn it.
Haylage was the best alternative for filming and yes I've still got a barn.

Are you sure? Was there such a thing as a wrapped bale before the UK joined the UK? Surely there must be some thinking that the lack of hay making opportunity over the last 40 years has all been down to the EU?

Think about it, we joined the EEC in 1972, at which point we used to have beautiful hot and dry summers. The summers soon began to get damper as the 80s progressed, then in 1993 the EEC morphed into the EU and bad summers became more frequent, culminating in the last decade or so when rain has been the dominant summer weather. Its pretty obvious that the longer we have been in the EU the worse our summers have got, and once we leave they will return to their former sun kissed independent glory....................Vote Leave for a return to the Traditional British Summer :D:D

Yep. All the good weather was sent to the med. it's a well known fact here on the mainland. Actually, was it written on a red bus "leaving means an end to bale wrap and grain driers"?

With all the glorious summers you will be getting post Brexit you will be able to make lots of hay. Although you may find it is mouldy when it comes to feeding it.
