Knocked 70 acre of hay down so far. Got 5 acre field left and something inside me wants to leave it for now just pulled into yard with mower having driven past the 5 acre field.

You’ve knocked 70acres down...will 5 more make any difference...Tea time now to ponder. Got sheep to check too. I know the forecast looks beautiful and all but this niggling feeling from past experiences. We also make it all into idiot cubes
No......I had that argument with myself on the way home too. You’ve knocked 70acres down...will 5 more make any difference...
You do realise that you’re going to get a whole load of posts saying you’re going to burn the barn down now? You should have left them out for 3 months or so.[/QUOTE
May as well drop a ring over them and feed where they drop
I'll see you all tomorrow for a hand carrying these to the shed, food and beer provided, many thanks!

sorry library pic of straw,...........but you get the idea
we dont move any bales by hand
Looks brilliant, Lely used to do a similar idea of a machine, but it stacked in 8's or 10's, and the bloody stacks used to fall over!!
Stupid question but why is that ? Is it because it’s baled to early feels like it’s made but then sweets up and goes fousty ?its easier make bad hay in a hot year than a catchy year
