You could be right. Makes a bit of a joke of the fixed price contract. Most contracts 3 years,surely more than a cycle. Were paid for x litres at 26.5 and then y litres at 29. So unless you've a calculator handy it's hard to tell how much of a bonus penalty you actually got. Dairies a step ahead all the timeHow long until base is 30p. Can't be far away. Got to be the Aug or Sept cheque latest surely?
Weather swung to their favour but the farmer needs higher price to cover all these variables, not to mention other bonuses that you don't get with the fixed litres. Another lesson learned.
