Does your price go up in a year like this , or is it agreed at the beginning.?
Agreed at the beginning.
Just walked the dogs , so walked out in some of it. Better than I thought , but dependant on soil type. Where there’s sandy patches it’s pretty much curled up.

It's all looking rather odd down here as a lot looks like little pine trees but I guess that's just the leaves trying hard to not lose too much moisture by curling up rather than getting further dehydrated?

Pembs
Pembs is normally marginal for maize, but the crops across the county look outstanding at the moment, pity the rain forecast for the week ahead has disappeared, again.

Around here we didn’t really have any rain for almost 2 month now. The calculated level is -240mm right now. The worst since 1976.
And it’s hot, so those who can irrigate have very nice crops if they have enough capacity.
I have about 550 acres with this and 200 with grass, that haven’t really been green for over a month now. Not really sure what we will feed the cows this winter if we don’t get rain soon.
