Up to head height here, even the stuff that went in a week later because I couldn't travel has come well.

    Seen plenty getting irrigation locally.
I even irrigated my millet earlier this week. It's already grown 6 inches since.

  8. Forage Maize looks really good around here, haven't seen a bad piece yet.

A field up the road has fat hen taller than the maize. Thicker stand too for that matter.

Mines tasseling now. Looked well from the start, but no rain for weeks has now meant it tasseling a few feet short of where I thought it'd be.

Seen several fields around here today that have started tasselling, most would be 2/3ft tall with the odd 4ft field.

  17. Dont really pay much attention to maize and know very little about it as there isntuch around me but i did notice a field yesterday that looked a lot shorter than i thought it should be. It was barley over fence height
