Yes. I didn't need the trailer to follow me around the headland!! It was after late lifted parsnips, so it yielded considerably better than May drilled spring barley which was the aim

Autumn calving has commenced although, as ultimate herd leader, I have given no permission for calving outside. I hope in the morning she will have the decency to come back to the shed and right up the 2 gates she jumped a couple of hours ago in her bid for freedom, or ‘me time’, well, ‘us time’ now.

I've not been keeping up on here as usual.
Busy.
Stuff happening, big things in the pipeline!?
Anyway.
A round up.
Led horse muck at the horse spot.
Tried to pick potatoes out of a quarry.
Went playing in Scotland
Made it back across the border and back to work, knocked up a new lid for an incinerator.
A day at the hire shop included fixing stone saws, chainsaws and making a battery holder for a generator.
Knocked up some shelves
Spotted @Nearly making dust this afternoon.
Might get a few jobs done at home tomorrow....

Yeah, draw a vacuum first, then pressure test.
Tells me if the crankshaft bearings and seals are ok.
Invaluable information when diagnosing running issues.
The bottom end was fine on that unit, ended up throwing a new piston and cylinder onto it.
