Have had a few cracking days in wales even if it did rain from Thursday onward s ,still that's what wales is famous for isn't it ?

Back home now in central Germany and it's 26 C and we have still not had more than 2.5 inches of rain since the 4th of April

29mm yesterday & today with a further 7mm since mid week. Wheat germinating nicely. Just off out to spread some more slug pellets on the wheat after rape as I have little doubt that the slimy blighters will be awake and hungry now.

Will have a look for some tomorrow, but having driven the ranger across some untouched stubbles and ended up with larger wheels its way too tacky to spread here
