Hello, i am ben aubrey that owns the 8150 and 650 that were at malvern. I did have an 8180 but sold it earlier this year for a hymac. The 8150 when new had options of air brakes aircon, reverse drive and different gearbox’s. Mine doesn’t have the airbrakes(yet) but does have the faster box with a creeper box too.
The little 650 was ahead of its time with 4 wheel braking, 3 speed pto plus ground speed. Only about 60hp but it has earned its keep.
A relative of mine has a steyr 9125(cs130) thats hit 20k hours now. Very good and tidy tractor. He also has an 8130 and cvx170.

I remember my local NH dealer getting 3 when they turned blue.. (first NH CVT??) anyway one was ok, but the other two spent all their time in the workshop and were moved on within 18 months, they never got another to sell.

Funny that, if you talk to people around here they will say they gave much less trouble than the pumas that replaced them.

I have a Steyr 290 bought new by my grandfather in 1966 with a quickie loader. Must have been a revelation at the time with it's independent forward reverse gear lever. Were many of these sold in the UK? Any one on this forum with one? The 288 model is near identical just less horsepower and a few less options. Think its a MWM engine in them. Bullet proof, Indirect injection sounds like an old transit. Has bosch hydraulics too. I dont have a picture off hand but below is one from the interweb.

The marshall d844 is a steyr 8080 i believe. I know the glass is dear especially with sk2 cab doors. I had to buy windows for my 8150. Luckily some companies do them but they are costly
