The detail of the deal is still not that clear. All those nations outside of the EU still do some business with it, so I guess that says something. We are in a mess with no plan B. Labour are a joke IMO as all they want is for the government to be brought down and an ensuing GE! They are no better than the Tories - they won’t nail their flag to the post and tell us all what they would do! Part of me thinks we should just leave with no set deal and then see how the politicians here and in EU deal with that scenario. As I’ve said before the Far East motor companies probably relish the chance to gain a bigger share of the UK market and many other products likewise. Not sure where it would leave Airbus though.I suppose its half way
Half way is better than staying in the sh!t house

I was thinking that if it becomes more difficult for the Europeans to export to us the Koreans and Japanese would be more than willing to step into the breach. Probably won’t happen. On the whole Brexit matter, all this talk and deal making; you are either in or out! Which is it to be?Why would far eastern car companies get a bigger share of the market? Or are you suggesting this would happen because existing car manufactures will eventually move all their production into Europe. This has be the most likely outcome as 80% of the production already ends up on the continent.

no there decision though is it so tough sh!t not yours either so dittoIf you think Brexit has miffed the Europeans, then how do you think the Japanese feel??
Absolutely shafted!!! Massive Japanese investment in UK, based on the total European market, SM, CU and frictionless borders.
And they have made their feeling on this issue quite clear to the British government.
But hey, Boris is happy to put them in their place with his “fu&k business” tantrum!!!
No.Is there any advantages of TM's deal over remaining?
The media doesn't think so.
Yup, it raises issues all over the placeIf you think Brexit has miffed the Europeans, then how do you think the Japanese feel??

I watched some of the Brexit all house commitee interviewing Theresa May.
A lot of the deal doesn't exist and has been left to political wording which is fluid.
So when the bank of England published their figures .. it was a guess because the main policies just are not there. For example there is no mention of tariffs or free movement of trade or payments by the UK to the EU.. it's a stop gap which binds the UK to the EU with an indefinite period.

I am also a sad person who saw some of it and was appalled at how little was actually in the agreement and how much of the spin was so easily unpicked by the MP's probing questions. Best laugh was who was going to build the Irish border crossing which really sums up the nonsense May was trying to justify.
LandRover planned to move their production to Slovakia years ago. Jobs currently being lost in the Midlands. Most of todays industrial movements are occuring because of Globalist policies which ignore national interests. Globalist policies like "Climate Change" where massive taxes are placed on UK industry .. which moves abroad pays no taxes and then uses dirty energy.
Very few people will vote on Japanese interests.
Of course you have the Japanese at heart in everything you post.
I suppose its half way

Thousands of households in the UK depend on Japanese interests. If they can't sell into the EU at a profit, it's the end of the road for UK car manufacturing.
They did in the fishing industry as well .. most of our coastal towns are desolate thanks to decades of EU destruction.
And shipping and mining and UK car industry (not Japanese) and Steel .. lots of industries have been thrown under the bus.
David Cameron couldn't give a toss about 30,000 Steel workers.
All of a sudden a few workers who will probably lose their jobs anyway thanks to EU and HMG policy is important.
This is not about a few UK workers in the Japanese car industry .. this is about 100,000s of jobs in the EU environmental lobby in councils, EA, DEFRA, political parties, media, Climate Lobby and all the associated industries feeding of UK tax payers money.
