I've had a boc cylinder for the last few years, I've been meaning to change but the renewal never coincided with an empty bottle , this year it did, so I went to SGS gas, £80 deposit, no rental and £58 to fill a 20litre bottle. BOC rental on a Y size/20litre bottle is £99 a year.Lots of hobby size cylinder companies now.
I've been on CO2 for 10 years but it's nice to get back onto Argoshield now I'm doing more welding.

if you use more than 2 bottles a year then boc hobby deal is cheapest over rent freeRecently had some prices from Boc on hobby gas and also commercial account. I’ll throw the prices up compared to quoted rent free supplier. Think they come out better if you’re using a fair amount of gas over rent free.

Bought a new Oxford 3 phase mig welder last year, fantastic machine, very few electrics and a 20 year parts guarantee!
