Light 50k tractor

If you can find something that does just over 40k at a reduced rpm... then I'm sure a tweak to the ecu or maybe a fuse pulled or resistor added somewhere would do the trick to see 50k.
Maybe a MF 6455 ? A 6465 T2 would be on reduced revs at 43k
But staying on the seat would be fun if it rides like most 4 cylinder tractors.

Not far off the mark there. Though would prefer something with auto hook ends rather than balls

This thread confirms then that there is no 4 ton 50k tractors out there, pretty much what I had expected. Most of the ones listed in this thread would do our job fine. Size and budget are the deal breakers, but a higher road speed would also have been handy

To be legal at 50k I think you need air brakes and suspension, and those options usually only start to appear on mid range tractors, 5 ton plus sorts of things. There might be some around the 4.5T area, but I can't think of many 4t tractors that even have suspension.

To be legal at 50k in the uk you need a fastrack or a unimog, plenty of others capable of 50k but don’t think there’s any others legal.

As I understand it, legally, you can do 25mph (~40kph) maximum anyway. 50kph boxes allow running at lower engine revs, or higher speeds on private land.

For ten miles, 40kph average, if possible, would mean a 24m 8s journey.
For ten miles, 50kph average, if possible, would mean a 19m 19s journey, so 4m 49s slower.

At £10/hour for your staff, the journey has cost you an extra 81p in wages.

I wouldn't worry about the gearbox for what you're planning.

Some one down here (mid Cornwall) runs a smallish new Holland on grass tyres for cutting sports pitches ,don't know what it is but it's fast, i mean really quick as it leaves me standing in my valtra :(
