Some one down here (mid Cornwall) runs a smallish new Holland on grass tyres for cutting sports pitches ,don't know what it is but it's fast, i mean really quick as it leaves me standing in my valtra
A tidy 7740 on 20.8s would be it. What weight are they?40k oversize tyres you'll be as close to 50k as makes no odds
But it's not legal, do you have no regard for the law ?It's dual carriageway all the way on the flat, so the 50k does help lol
Tractor speed limits are as commonly ignored as car speed limitsBut it's not legal, do you have no regard for the law ?
Yes I know, doesn't make either rightTractor speed limits are as commonly ignored as car speed limits
Fair enough point, does no harm to point the facts out but after that I’ll leave it between the drivers concience and the law,Yes I know, doesn't make either right
Save fuel driving a 50k at 40kSound a lot of money to save max 6 minutes and 15 seconds to travel 10 miles a little more quickly and risk running foul of trailer construction and braking regulations.
Not even - it’s 4 minutes 49 seconds.Sound a lot of money to save max 6 minutes and 15 seconds to travel 10 miles a little more quickly and risk running foul of trailer construction and braking regulations.
Isn't it in fact a fair bit less as 50k would be the top speed, rather than average speedNot even - it’s 4 minutes 49 seconds.
of topic but what do you think of the farmall ? is it a U or a AWe have a Case Farmall that might be its red equivalent, does 45k or so and really feels like it's shifting for such a small tractor.
Deutz Agroplus.
Governor can be tweaked to make them near enough 50k.
