SA or OF&G?

I’d be telling the barstewards you’re going to move... then do it!

SA. The farm owner did question why they were called the soil association if she didn't care about soil. :D

This one has been here before, but doing a beef audit. She didn't really know much about dairy. I keep threatening to move to OF&G but never bother. She did moan about how SA is the only real organic outfit because OF&G don't promote organic & I suggested that they were probably doing a better job at getting conventional farmers on board than SA then.

She didn't do our Red Tractor either, so we have to have another inspection in a few weeks. I'm glad she didn't because I would probably still be sifting through seed bag tickets from 2004 now. :poop:

“Over friendly cows”... what the actual f**k?!?!?!:banghead: That is the most absurd black mark I’ve ever heard of!!!

Did I mention I f**king detest the SA? I think I did! Oooooh my hatred for them burns with the fire of a thousand suns!!!!!!! May their collective ball sack be infested with the flies of a thousand camels!!!

Sack ‘em off! They’re no good! Only interested in promoting themselves in a vain attempt to justify their increasingly irrelevant existence!

(Sorry, they just make me wild! I probably shouldn’t be more angry about this than you so I’ll stop ranting)

Aaaand relax!

I thought it was funny, I don't mind having that written in a report.:D

We are only with the SA as a hangover from direct sales, where their name is actually worth something.

I blame a NSW hot summer in 1997/8 for my current address. Lancastrian wife, late pregnant ( 3rd child) living in a brick veneer house with no A/C, whose mother was ill back in Blighty.
I used to hose the brick walls down in the evening when I got home from work to try and draw some of the heat out. Probably useless but you have to show willing.
In the end the MIL and heat won.
Though, I’ve had a small victory. We live in Yorkshire.
I live in what isnt much better than a tin shed......AC has been on permanently since November. Flat roof on house.....so last few days the sprinkler has been on the roof to try and take the sting out of heat in bedrooms.
I've seen outback stations that have transportable houses like ours that have an actual shed built over the house to keep it shaded...

This has just cleared its embargo, due to be published in the morning - It suggests a significant reduction in red meat consumption. It doesn't seem very well thought out.

a "tropical" roof was an accessory available on the old "Series" Landrover wagons - effectively another roof a couple of inches above the original, to keep it shaded as well as encouraging airflow through it to carry heat away
probably ok for 1955, but I don't think id be swapping it for a 200 series Toyota :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I cant read that(n) is this the vegan report claiming that we can reverse global warming and improve our health by reducing red meat consumption to 14gms ??

Its a new report in the Lancet tomorrow, suggesting that we cut red meat and dairy consumption down for health and sustainability (but doesn't recognise a difference in production systems) but increase irrigation and cropping.

Some sensible, but some misguided, at best - not recognising that grazing is a massive, and key part of sustainable farming is a bit of an oops moment. I suspect this is going to throw more fuel on the Vegan/ anti-meat fire we've had recently.

Dad had a Series 2a with a Safari roof.
He hated it! I loved it! Be worth a few grand now if he kept it.

Yes, but the cops still get called and I still have to explain why I’m sat in a fridge, in the super market, in my under crackers, drinking Bundy!
FFS:facepalm: you just don't get it:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:the more you drink the easier it is for you to explain and the harder it is for them to understand (y) Have you ever gotten a coherent answer out of someone who's pìssed:ROFLMAO:
