I do yes.currently with NSF and have been since it started, my assessor is rumoured to have retired so I’ve been looking at alternatives.
One friend uses Acouro so I have rung them and they quoted my over £100 cheaper than NSF for the same service
Does anyone recommend Acouro ?
Any comments??
The man on the `phone` said I was `sexist` because I said not to send the same inspector again
Chris never failed me.
Our tea was nicer .
Evidently not!
Keep us informed if you change. because the NSF are going too far.
Good to hear,i have had 30 years farming stood on my own two feet,i have been carrying out approx 200 inspections a year.I would like to think i have been objective and fair, but firm .I would not want to let my client ,myself or Red Tractor down. We’re using NSF on our farm too. We’ve had the same auditor for the last few years.
Always got on well. If it’s not broken don’t fix it.
Sorry ,I can only speak for myself. Objective Fair and Firm is what we should expect from an Assessor.
Could I ask what is the “job spec” for Assessors ? Degree, farming experience, for example ??
And in the light of Freedom if Information I wonder if the customer ( farmer) can ask to see the statistics of the assessor that they get .... ie if the assessor fails a bigger %-age that average. Etc etc
That’s not an attack on anyone in particular
