Dutch are paying £75 on the east coast I was quoted £40/ton to haul that to Wales today. Even at £30 ton rmto haul which is cheap it's still £105 . I haven't seen any straw at £45 yetI haven’t bought much straw for less than £85 a tonne for years now
If a farmer is selling it for £45 there’s £40 a tonne somewhere so wagon and drag x25 tonnes leaves £1000 somewhere
Or x20 leaves £800
No wonder there’s been shortages
