I believe this is a friends old S26, I will have to ask him, but I’m sure it’s that reg No!
Didn’t look like this when he had it for timber hauling and low loader work!
One heck of a tool that went where other trucks wouldn’t dare.
When he’d finished with it it was bought by a fairground owner, who didn’t use it, then on to an enthusiast who managed to find a brand new cab for it, ex mod cab iirc, he did a fairly comprehensive resto on it I believe. I’m sure it was in slightly different livery then as I remember, but was actually meant to be the colours and livery of its original owner, it was then sold to a collector up north, I assume he’s changed the signwriting? Although I can’t find any info on this pic, so it might not be the right truck, but RNO on the plate certainly rings a bell with me.
Didn’t have the towing front on it originally though I’m sure.
If it’s the truck I think it is, it was an epic motor, and one that my friend wishes he’d kept now, but in reality if he kept it then it would be a pile of useless rust by now, and not the truck it is today.
