I was thinking that 25p might be the trough for peak May milk but it looks like Lakeland are going to be there in April! Dale Farm board meeting is next week to set the price for payment on Friday, February was 26p I hope they hold but it's more likely that they'll drop
They'll faithfully follow the rest of the herd of goats downwards, have no fear.

We are where we are. planet chaos. It may not be what was voted for but it is what has been delivered. I voted for the status quo. No matter what anyone says our living standards have been greatly improved from when I was a child.why change. There will still be rules.someone else's rules.

Specifically your living standards, the living standards of the lowest income, or the average living standard?

I rest my case

Mine and many many others.i remember the 70s

Many others indeed. How much of that do you think is due to the European Union?

As for yourself? I suspect the average farmer living standard vs the regional average has lost quite a lot of ground since sometime in the '80's. It took a part time farmer/NIE networks installation worker to point that one out to me, but it's glaringly obvious I think.

Definitely, our standard of living has certainly risen but it has in no way kept pace with the average of the country, but then it was suggested to me recently that the late 70/early80's was the last time that profit was the average farmer's first priority.

Setting aside any political views, the most depressing thing about leaving for me is the fact that those who failed to negotiate or implement EU regulations for our benefit will now be acting on "our behalf " on the world stage.
