Drag chopper videos for nerds like me

It’s lighter with not having all the gearboxes for all the drums like a kemper get on well with it in maize certainly a lot better than the keepers we ran on the claas. Did try a new kemper plus range on a Fendt I would say there as good if not better in some condition

So, overall, would you sooner run the krone header if one could be made to fit rather than anything from the opposition? Ie if you owned a Claas would you seek out a krone header for it?

I can see why it would be lighter and probably a lot simpler with fewer gearboxes etc to go bang and I've been told they are excellent in laid crops of maize.

Unsure probably kemper only reason I see the Krone header was made for the Krone forager and work well with the levelling system on it. Unsure how it would work on a claas

If don't mind me saying it wasn't a normal demo, quad track case and it was filling a mixer wagon !
That was the whole point. Something different. Where else would you see a Quadtrack on a chopper and as we were selling mixer wagons, rather than having it static, we thought we’d use it as part of the demonstration.

What zetor is that?

It was a 12011. One of a few which were fitted with a Duncan cab
That picture would be about 1996. I bought it brand new in 88 and I think price was under £10,000
It never really ailed anything and you couldn’t kill it. I’m sure when it went it was putting out more power than 120hp !

They were animals! We had a 10111 and it could pull anything. Always fancied a 6 cylinder. It was such a shame when they lost the big range when country split.
