Total Rubbish. If we lose this battle we will NEVER leave the EU.
No country can now leave the EU unless ALL the other EU country's agree!

Do you now what the average WTO tariff is ? Apart from food and cars/trucks they are ugger all and less than the pound has dropped since the vote, so no exports wont stop due to tariffsHow do you prepare for the unknown other than to sit on your hands and delay investment? We are 2 weeks until we are supposed to leave... will we have free trade with the EU or will tariffs effectively shut down EU exports, will 100,000T of South American beef suddenly wash ashore with no tariffs on it and flood the market overnight, will we actually leave at all? How can anyone possibly prepare, if we leave on 31st October there isn't 3 years to prepare, there might not even be 3 days.
Sorry my bad, exports wont stop due to tariffs, apart from food and car/trucks and being on an Ag forum why would I care about thatDo you now what the average WTO tariff is ? Because UK citizens buy your food, just about sums up the attitude of quite a few farmers, they want to keep their lifestyle and income bugger everyone else, lots of farmers including me voted leave because we believe its in the best interest of the country in the long run regardless of any impact it might have on us in the short termSorry my bad, exports wont stop due to tariffs, apart from food and car/trucks and being on an Ag forum why would I care about that
UK citizens buy our food, they will also buy it from elsewhere either due to supply or price... even @Hilly is out buying imported oranges and bananas when you and he could follow your nationalist ideas and buy only British produce... Hypothetically speaking, if Brexit were to directly result in your business folding and you going bankrupt, would you still consider that level of short term negative impact worth it for the interest of the country?Because UK citizens buy your food, just about sums up the attitude of quite a few farmers, they want to keep their lifestyle and income bugger everyone else, lots of farmers including me voted leave because we believe its in the best interest of the country in the long run regardless of any impact it might have on us in the short term
Where is the good news? That is one thing I had always considered being a certainty. Being permitted to export product to the EU doesn't solve the fact that with 40% tariffs buyers in European are not going to be willing to buy those high tariff products in at prices acceptable to UK producers..
Bus pass .
Bus pass .
But what's french buses like?
You don't look very happy about it ,
We are only 60% self sufficient, lets supply our own market, yes I know we export a lot of lamb and if that stops then sheep producers will have to change, we have NO right to stay in business anymore than the corner shop or local milkman, they almost died out yet now there are plenty of local shops who open different hours and offer a better range, milkmen are making a comeback by offering far more than milk using modern sales ideas such as online ordering. One thing for certain what ever happens with brexit is I wont be going bust, I owe nothing and have a diverse business that doesnt rely too much on commodity production. Fair points, though the corner shop and milkmen had years of gradual change, we are about to go though a near overnight and significant shift in our market position for commodities that have long and inflexible production cycles. Like you I have diversity in income which buys me more time than those with significant borrowings and a heavy reliance on any single commodity... I don't seem to recall the Brexit tag line "Vote Brexit, and when the going gets tough, the tough will get going whilst the not so tough will go to the wall"We are only 60% self sufficient, lets supply our own market, yes I know we export a lot of lamb and if that stops then sheep producers will have to change, we have NO right to stay in business anymore than the corner shop or local milkman, they almost died out yet now there are plenty of local shops who open different hours and offer a better range, milkmen are making a comeback by offering far more than milk using modern sales ideas such as online ordering. Thats fine and I have no issue with those that voted to remain we are all entitled to or own point of view, BUT in a democracy the point of view with the most votes win, a large percentage of remain voters have accepted the result and want to move on but a very vocal minority of selfish bad losers want it overturned, that just about sums up modern life, dont get your way then have a tantrum until you doAnd lots voted to remain because we believe that it’s in the best interests of the country in the long run.
