Australia rejects free movement plan with UK

As I picked up a bit of Ursula speaking on the radio, free movement has to be part of any trade deal. Sounds like this pillar is not negotiable. If this is the case, it's surely got to be a hard Brexit now and all the negotiating since Article 50 has just been a waste of time. What's happening here?

It's all 'imperative', 'mandatory' or 'impossible', until that tactic doesn't work and it isn't.

...And the beer, by all accounts is terrible.
And often served in effeminately small glasses. :ROFLMAO:

Not quite, she said to have the same access as now required free movement. Not some access . Also that the same regulatory standards were needed for animal / agriculture for open access to the EU market.
A Canada type deal is where it appears Boris is heading.

Trade deals do not involve any kind of political union or free movement or any other claptrap. You will not get the USA or NZ or Canada agreeing to that neither should the UK. Companies wanting foreign staff should be obliged to sponsor them as would happen in many other parts of the world.

I think you will find that the EU trade deal with India was halted by the UK refusing any agreement on free movement with them. Presumably now the UK has confirmed it's leaving that's way the talks are already back on.

I doubt too many indians want to go anywhere apart from the UK
